COVID-19 Rates Down Last Week in Delaware County Compared to Previous Week, But Still High

No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths, were available for the weekend, April 10 and 11, from the Chester County Health Department.

The health department has released a 4-week summary that shows a slight decline in the positive count of new COVID19 cases this past week compared to the previous week, but cases continue to remain high for Delaware County.

The health department also released its most recent 4-week summary regarding COVID-19 testing in Delaware County.

Pennsylvania data

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, April 11, that there were 8,244  additional cases of COVID-19 statewide between Friday, April 9, and Sunday, April 11. Current statewide total COVID-19 cases are 1,072,336

There were 42 additional COVID-19 deaths reported statewide between Friday, April 9, and Sunday, April 11. Total deaths statewide are now 25,404.
