Six Delaware County public high schools are among the top 50 in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a new ranking recently released by Niche.

Of the local schools, Radnor Senior High School came highest in fourth place.

Strath Haven High School in Wallingford also broke the top ten, ranking eighth.

Next is Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills at No. 23, followed by Haverford Senior High School in Havertown in No. 32 and Penncrest High School in Media at No. 40.

The list is rounded off by Springfield High School at No. 49.

To determine the ranking for its 2021 Best Public High Schools in Pennsylvania list, Niche used a rigorous analysis of key statistics using data provided by the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews written by students and parents.

The metrics used include test scores, college readiness, graduation scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings, among many others.

Schools were then graded using eight categories, with Academics having the highest weight.

All schools that made the top 50 list received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score.
