Sue Perti of Ridley Park has created The Ultimate Brady Bunch Facebook fans page.  It now has 8,000 members worldwide, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.   

The site invites people to talk about their favorite episodes and memories, and share Brady memorabilia.

There’s also Brady Bunch trivia, guest appearances, and Q&A sessions with the cast.

The Facebook site has gotten the attention of some cast members and others associated with the show. Some are Facebook friends. Others will occasionally “like” a comment. 

The original show aired September 1969 to March 1974. Perti jumped on board in 1977 at age 6, when the show was in syndication.

 “This was a time when my parents were going through a divorce and I would watch ‘The Brady Bunch’ and admire their idyllic home life and the way everyone got along and stayed together,” Perti said. “I also only had one older brother at the time, so having many siblings was foreign to me, but sounded nice.”

Slowly her Brady memorabilia of books, biographies, record albums, CDs, Christmas ornaments and DVD collections grew.  

The Ridley High School graduate still watches episodes weekly.
