Pennsylvania Reports Only 23 New COVID-19 Deaths Statewide for Monday

No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths, were available Monday from the Chester County Health Department because of the President’s Day holiday.

State statistics were available from the Pennsylvania Department of Health as of noon, Feb. 15, but no new county statistics have been posted by the state since Friday, Feb. 12.

The last available county information available reported 36,318 total positive cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County.

The health department also reported 1,236 COVID-19-related deaths as of Feb. 12. Of those, 788 occurred in long-term care facilities or personal care homes.

Pennsylvania data

The Pennsylvania Department of Health did confirm as of noon, Feb. 15, that there were 1,945 additional cases of COVID-19 statewide. The total number of cases stands at 896,860.

There were 23 additional COVID-19 deaths reported statewide between Friday, Feb. 12 and Sunday, Feb. 14. Total deaths statewide are now 23,119.
