No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths, were available from the Chester County Health Department or the Pennsylvania Department of Health for Monday, Feb. 8.  

The last available county information available was Friday, Feb. 5, in which 35,428 total positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Delaware County by the Chester County Health Department.

The health department also reported 1,199 COVID-19-related deaths as of Feb. 5, 778 occurring in long-term care facilities or personal care homes.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of 6 p.m., Feb. 8, that there were 873,825 total cases of COVID-19 statewide.
