Philadelphia once again ranks among the most sinful cities in America, according to a list recently published by WalletHub.

To compile the rankings for 2020’s Most Sinful Cities in America, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across seven key categories, including Anger & Hatred, Jealousy, Excesses & Vices, Greed, Lust, Vanity, and Laziness.

These were examined using 37 relevant metrics, ranging from violent crimes and sex offenders to excessive drinking and DUI-related fatalities.

Philadelphia ranked seventh with a 51.24 vice index, dropping one spot compared to last year.

The City of Brotherly Love ranked highest in the Anger & Hatred category in 12th place, followed by the Lust category in 14th place.

Vanity put the city at No. 17, followed closely by Excesses & Vice at No. 21.

Philadelphia did not rank as high in the Greed and Laziness categories, coming in at Nos. 50 and 56, respectively.

The city ranked lowest in the Jealousy category at No. 60.

Additionally, Philadelphia tied for fifth with Boston among the cities with the lowest charitable donation as a percentage of income.

Unsurprisingly, Las Vegas, nicknamed Sin City, is No. 1 on Wallethub’s list.
