Paul Karalis, owner of Karalis Mechanical Services in Broomall is bringing a light and sound wonderland to brighten this holiday season in a year when people may not feel much like celebrating, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

Hoping to end 2020 on a festive note, Karalis teamed with JMW Entertainment Group to create a bright spot at 2035 Sproul Road in the heart of Marple.

“I deal with a lot of people in the community and I know some people are having a tough time. So, I felt it was my responsibility to do something to help people feel positive around the holidays,” said Karalis, a life-long resident.

His HVAC and generator installation business, Karalis Mechanical Services, sits in a high-profile spot, across from the Wawa on Sproul Road.

Now there’s a 10-minute light and music show featuring a 28-foot tall Christmas tree that runs dusk to 10 p.m.

Long-time friend John Wolk, owner of JMW Entertainment Group in Garnet Valley, helped set up the lights and music display. JMW provides sound and lighting systems and audio and visual support to corporate and school events.
