With many couples opting for smaller, more intimate weddings due to COVID-19, some local businesses have started offering catering options for micro-weddings, with one of them making the best 12 list for the Philadelphia area, write Matt Phillips and Kaliyah Dorsey for the Philadelphia Magazine.

Peachtree Catering & Events in Radnor has been providing catering at its two venues, Pomme and Portico, as well as at private locations.

The caterer offers different styles and cuisine options that are based on the culinary wish list provided by the happy couple.

The menu for micro-weddings features simple foods such as mini crabcakes, lobster summer rolls, and baby lamb chops, all coupled with margaritas. There are also picnic boxes that change seasonally and could include anything from spring onion tartlets, grilled chicken with scallion dressing to black pepper crackers.

Meanwhile some couples opted to have luncheons on the grass, while one pair decided to bring the Peachtree To-Go offering for a treat in the park.

The caterer has served micro-weddings that range from 10 to 35 guests. Prices for brunch, lunch, or dinner with the ceremony range from around $3,500 to $10,000.
