The pandemic may have shut down a lot of dining options, but warmer weather and outdoor tents with space heaters means a Villanova University brunch is still on the menu, writes Julia Stanisci for The Villanovan.

Some favorites.

First Watch is a Villanova staple located down from the university at 775 E. Lancaser Ave.

Sure there’s healthier choices like avocado toast, omelettes and fresh fruit, but the fan favorite is “million dollar bacon.”

Turning Point at Lancaster an Merion Aves., is a nice place to get a good meal and “yummy tea” with friends, says Sophomore Samantha Shalgos.

“The atmosphere is really cute,” she said.

Silverspoon is a BYOB fancier option in Wayne at 503 W Lancaster Ave. Look for American cuisine like silver dollar pancakes, eggs benedict and truffle fries in an airy atmosphere.

White Dog Cafe has ranked as one of the most popular Villanovan spots this semester, with locations in Wayne and Haverford.

Start with appetizers like hummus and truffle fries, with main courses of endless omelettes, eggs benedict and a house waffle.

Junior Carley O’Toole recommends fresh mini donuts with an optional sugar sauce dip.
