See Which Delaware County School Districts Have Some of Best Teachers in Pennsylvania

Delaware County is home to six of the Top 50 school districts with the best teachers in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a recently published ranking by Niche.com.

Wallingford-Swarthmore School District ranked highest in eighth place. The district has a student-teacher ratio of 14:1 and an average teacher salary of $91,587.

Rose Tree Media School District is also in the top 10 at ninth. The district has a 13:1 student-teacher ratio and an average teacher salary of $96,254.

Next is Radnor Township School District in 15th place, with a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and an average teacher salary of $95,865.

Garnet Valley School District follows in 18th place.

The list is rounded off with Springfield School District and School District of Haverford Township at No. 30 and No. 31, respectively.

To determine the ranking for its list of the 2021 Districts with the Best Teachers in Pennsylvania, Niche.com evaluated factors such as teacher ratings, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, and student-teacher ratio.

All school districts that made the top 50 received an A+ grade in the Teachers category.
