Child Guidance Resource Centers is heading toward the finish line with its 8th Annual “One Stride at a  Time: Superhero 5K Run & Wellness Festival for Prevention”.

Even though this year’s event is virtual, 135 participants so far have stepped up to the challenge and shared their unique experiences running and walking along outdoor trails and in their communities.

The Festival in a Box gave the runners and walkers some snacks and merchandise. Image via Child Guidance Resource Centers.

The participants offered up pictures of their fun times with families as they shared the Child Guidance Resource Centers’ “Festival in a Box,” containing all they need to make their run/walk possible.

There’s still time to put on your sneakers, join the fun and participate. The Child Guidance Virtual Superhero 5K ends Oct. 31. You can register at www.cgrc.org/5K.

Awards will be given over Facebook Live at 3 p.m. on Nov. 1.

All proceeds from the  Superhero 5K Run & Wellness Festival support families struggling with addiction and mental health in the Delaware Valley.

A special thanks and recognition go to Platinum Sponsor Kimberly Cannon Color for their generous support.
