Pennsylvania Reports Delaware County COVID-19 Case Total Now at 11,716

COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Sunday, Oct. 4.

The latest statistics available from The Pennsylvania Department of Health show 11,716 cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County as of Sunday, Oct. 4.

State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.

The Chester County Health Department reported 796 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Friday, Oct. 2.

Of those, 614 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

There were 2,251additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of Sunday, Oct. 4 since statistics were last reported here Friday, Oct. 2. Pennsylvania is now listing a total of 163,535.

There were 37 new deaths reported statewide as of Sunday, Oct. 4, since these statistics were last reported Friday, Oct. 2, with total deaths listed at  8,216, according to the  Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Statewide, 1,931,635 people have tested negative for the virus.
