For the second day, new cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County are hovering around 120 or more cases, with 121 new cases reported for Wednesday.
Total number of cases in the county has reached 13,507, according to the Chester County Health Department.
Three more residents, from Marple, Upper Darby and Prospect Park, have lost their life to COVID-19, the second consecutive day when deaths have been reported for the county. The county’s COVID-19 death toll is now 813.
Of those, 620 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

COVID-19 fatalities have been reported in 40 of the county’s 49 municipalities.
Yeadon Borough continues to have the highest percentage of population being affected by the virus, with one new cases reported since Tuesday. Total cases are 575, or 5.01 percent of its 11,471 population.
Upper Darby has the most cases reported, with 2,068 cases reported, or 2.49 percent of Upper Darby’s 82,993 population.

There are 322 cases still under investigation, to which no municipality has yet been assigned.
The county has had 130, 037 people test negative for the virus. The health department is reporting an 80.93 percent recovery rate.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, Oct. 28, that the state has passed 200,000 in the number of COVID-19 cases reported here.
There were 2,228 new cases of COVID-19 across the state, bringing the statewide total to 200,674.
