COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Thursday, Sept. 3.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 10,516 cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County for Thursday, Sept. 3.
State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.
The Chester County Health Department reported 774 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Wednesday, Sept. 2. Of those, 604 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.
There were 1,160 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of Thursday, Sept. 3. Pennsylvania is now listing a total of 136,771 COVID-19 cases.
There were 41 additional COVID-19 deaths statewide reported, bringing the total to 7,732 deaths for Sept. 3, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Statewide, 1,565,443 people have tested negative for the virus.
