Brooklyn Firm Plans Residential Units, Retail at Two 69th Street Properties

Two properties in the Upper Darby 69th Street commercial district have been purchased by a Brooklyn company and are being converted into residential units on the upper floors, with retail space below, writes Natalie Kostelni for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Riverside Abstract of Brooklyn has paid $3.52 million for the Upper Darby Wellness Center, at 6800-6816 West Chester Pike.

The 60,728 square-foot art deco building was sold on behalf of A&E Real Estate Partners.

It has paid another $2.65 million for 6908-6910 West Chester Pike, sold by the Moriah Group. It totals 45,850 square feet.

Michael Barmash, Despina Belsemes and Eric Grad of Colliers International represented the respective sellers in the transactions.

The Hamilton

Radnor Property Group is finishing up the second phase of the Hamilton, a 16-story, 228,000-square-foot apartment building at the Community College of Philadelphia.

Harman Group the structural engineers, MY Architecture designed the building, and McDonald Building Co. is the general contractor.
