COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Sunday, Aug. 30.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 38 additional cases of COVID-19 for Sunday, Aug. 30, in Delaware County since statistics were last reported Friday, Aug. 28.
Total number of cases in the county as of Aug. 30 is 10,317.
State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.
The Chester County Health Department reported 773 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Friday, Aug. 28. Of those, 597 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.
There were 1,513 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of Sunday, Aug. 30 since statistics were last reported on Friday, Aug. 28. Pennsylvania is now listing a total of 133,504 COVID-19 cases.
There were 18 additional COVID-19 deaths statewide reported, bringing the total to 7,673 deaths for Aug. 30, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Statewide, 1,515,899 people have tested negative for the virus.
