As of Monday, July 6, there have been 94 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Delaware County since Thursday, July 2.
There were no additional COVID-19 related deaths reported.
That brings the total number of positive cases in the county to 7,393, with the number of COVID-19 related deaths remaining at 702.
Of those, 563 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

Upper Darby has the most cases reported, at 1,213, affecting 1.46 percent of Upper Darby’s 82,993 population.

The county has had 39,492 people test negative for the virus. The health department is reporting an 82.81 percent recovery rate.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, July 6, that there are 2,230 additional positive cases of COVID-19 since Thursday, July 2, bringing the statewide total to 90,304.
There were 42 additional deaths reported with the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 at 6,754.
