As of Tuesday, June 30, there were 33 additional cases of COVID-19 reported in Delaware County.

No COVID-19 related deaths were reported.

That brings the total number of positive cases in the county to 7,248 with the number of COVID-19 related deaths remaining at 696.

Of those, 558 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

Yeadon Borough has the highest percentage of population being affected by the virus. It has 425 cases, affecting 3.71 percent of its 11,471 population.

Upper Darby continues to have the most cases, at 1,189, affecting 1.43 percent of Upper Darby’s 82,993 population.

There are 275 cases still under investigation, to which no municipality has been assigned.

The county has had 22,900 people test negative for the virus. The health department is reporting an 82.69 percent recovery rate.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of midnight, June 30, that there are 618 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 86,606.

There are 6,649 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 35 new deaths.
