Despite the coronavirus still representing a threat throughout the state, the Philadelphia suburbs has seen its scores on the Social Distancing Scoreboard go down in recent days.

The interactive Scoreboard has been created by Unacast to “empower organizations to measure and understand the efficacy of social distancing initiatives at the local level.” This is updated every 12 hours.

Delaware County, with more than 4,100 confirmed COVID-19 cases, scored overall with a D.

Delco received a C for its reduction in average mobility and D in the reduction of non-essential visits.

It scored an F in encounters density compared to the national baseline.

Montgomery County, with more than 4,500 confirmed cases, scored a D+ overall, which is a slight improvement compared to yesterday. The county received a C both in the reduction in average mobility and in the reduction in non-essential visits.

However, the county scored an F for its decrease in encounters density compared to the national baseline.

Chester County also scored a D+ overall. The county received the same scores as Montgomery County for all sub-categories.
