Benefits of Medical Marijuana Discussed at Free March 28 Event Co-Hosted by Media’s Pennsylvania Institute of Technology
Soulful Cannabis, in partnership with MediCalm and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, is hosting a free public event March 28 that focuses on the benefits of treatments using medical marijuana.
The session from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will take place at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, 800 Manchester Avenue, in Media.
Speakers will include medical professionals, caregivers, patient advocates and patients with conditions that benefit from medical cannabis.
Recommending physicians will be on hand to certify new patients at a discounted fee. Patients need to bring medical records demonstrating they have one of the 23 approved medical marijuana conditions.
There will be free registration tables staffed with volunteers to help new patients get started on their own medical marijuana cards.
Local medical marijuana dispensaries and PA grower-processors will be attending to meet with the public and answer questions.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
