Three movers and shakers from Delaware County have found their place on the Philadelphia area’s Power 100, writes Ryan Sharrow for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The list features individuals who have the influence, respect, skill, and effectiveness that provide them with the power to shape the look and feel of the entire Philadelphia region for years to come. It is in alphabetical order.

The list opens with Daniel M. DiLella, CEO of Newtown Square-based Equus Capital Partners and chairman of The United States Semiquincentennial Commission.

He oversees the 32-member commission comprising of congressional delegates, federal officials, and private citizens appointed by Congress to facilitate nationwide plans to commemorate the nation’s 250th birthday.

Chris Gheysens, president and CEO of Wawa, is also featured. He has been at the helm of the convenience store chain for the last seven years and has steered its aggressive expansion plan.

Finally, the list is rounded off by Dennis Glass, president and CEO of Radnor-based Lincoln Financial Group. He successfully guided the Fortune 500 company through the recession and narrowed its offerings to core insurance and retirement solutions.
