Tickets are still available for Senior Community Services’ first-ever Awards Gala Thursday, Nov. 7, 6 to 10 p.m., at the Springfield Country Club.

The night begins with a cocktail hour, giving attendees a chance to survey items in the silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m., followed by an awards presentation honoring three crucial figures in the aging services community.

The evening will conclude with dancing to the sounds of  Best Kept Soul.

Senior Community Services, Delaware County’s largest nonprofit senior services agency, will pay tribute to:

  • The late Edward E. Baum, longtime SCS board member and volunteer;
  • Denise V. Stewart, director of the County Office of Services for the Aging;
  • SAP North America, a multinational corporation with its US headquarters in Newtown Square.
