Tallest, Longest Indoor Skyrider Coaster in Nation Opens in Springfield

Springfield residents now have a unique new place to enjoy jumping, climbing, and conquering obstacle courses with the opening of Urban Air Adventure Park, writes Peg DeGrassa for Delaware County Daily Times.

Located at 1250 Woodland Avenue next to BJ’s Wholesale store, the 30,000-square-foot indoor super playground is designed for kids of all ages to enjoy fun experiences with its 19 interactive attractions.

These include wall-to-wall trampoline arenas, the Stunt Airbag, and Runway Tumble Track, TUBES Obstacle Course and Urban Warrior Course. The park also features the Urban Air Adventure Hub with exclusive adventure park attractions.

However, the special treat for fun-loving adventurers is the 600-foot long, 30-foot high Urban Air Sky Rider Indoor Coaster, the tallest and longest nationwide.

Urban Air also features a café and a lounge with Wi-Fi and big screen TV’s. There are even rooms named after Delaware County towns for birthday parties and corporate events with balcony views.

“We really want to lock in the Delco flavor and Delco pride here,” said Steve Taraschi, who owns Urban Air with Chris and Sue Taraschi and Dave and Margie Ellis.
