As Pennsylvanians, Here’s How Stressed We Are

Pennsylvania is the 17th-most stressed state nationwide and Philadelphia is 39th among the 100 most stressed cities in America, according to a recently published analysis by Babylon Health, writes Mari Schaefer for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The London-based health provider determined its stress-level rankings based on five million real-time tweets about stress, various frustrations, and anxiety over a two-week period.

Babylon Health also tracked the times and days of the week when most users tweeted to find the most stressful periods.

According to the survey, users in Pennsylvania were most stressed on Sunday mornings. The survey also found that 10.67 percent of tweets in the state were stress-related.

In Philadelphia, residents’ stress over 76ers games. among other things.

Stress is an issue nationwide, according to a recently released Gallup Poll. It found that America was one of the most stressed-out countries worldwide last year with 55 percent of Americans experiencing stress the previous day. Meanwhile, 45 percent were also worrying more, and 22 percent said they were feeling angrier.
