FMFCU Foundation’s Inaugural Golf Outing to Benefit Local Schools

By

The Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Foundation will hold its inaugural Golf Classic on Monday, June 10 at Radley Run Country Club in West Chester. This event is presented by The Henderson Group, Philadelphia’s premier provider of flexible workplace solutions.

Funds from the Golf Classic will benefit the Delaware County Excellence in Teaching Awards grants. Twenty-one outstanding educators in Delaware and Chester counties who teach Delaware County students are recognized each year through the Excellence in Teaching Awards program.

FMFCU Foundation, in partnership with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit and the Delaware County Daily Times, distributes more than $30,000 to these teachers and their schools to fund educational projects and supplies.

“The Excellence in Teaching Awards grant funding has made a positive difference on thousands of students over the last 10 years,” said Rick Durante, Executive Director of FMFCU Foundation. “We look forward to expanding that impact with the help of our sponsors.”

Sponsorships are available to help raise funds for local schools. Information is available here.

The event will begin with lunch followed by a shotgun start at noon. The format is a four-player scramble. Dinner and awards will immediately follow golf.
