Soulful Cannabis, a local nonprofit aiming to encourage social equity in the newly emerging, legal cannabis industry, will host an event at the Media Community Center on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10 AM-4 PM to educate the public on medical marijuana.

The event will include dispensaries, grower-processors, and doctors certified to register patients for the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program.

A series of speakers and panelists will discuss medical marijuana and the issues faced by patients, caregivers, and parents, as well as explore social justice and social equity topics.

Local dispensaries will host conversations in which members of the public can sit down and ask questions to learn more about the products and process of creating medical marijuana.

Certifying physicians and other health practitioners will also be in attendance to answer questions about the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program and the numerous conditions it covers.

A free mobile app will be released before the event to help navigate the activities and stay connected with future resources.

The event is free to attend but registration is required.
