Founded in 1916 under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, St. Edmond’s Home for Children is located in Radnor Township and offers a broad spectrum of medical/nursing and therapeutic services for children diagnosed with severe and profound disabilities.

Administrative Assistant

This position prepares the monthly donor report and end of fiscal year report; prepares and maintains annual ESY contracts, invoices school districts, and processes payments; prepares the management team meeting agenda and takes minutes; and purchases and oversees office supply and printing needs.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quicken, Outlook, digital photography, and Internet software; website management experience; and the ability to utilize research data to develop reports, tables, graphs, and presentations.

Dietary Supervisor

This position oversees food purchasing, production and the timely service of meals; directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel; processes new diet orders and diet changes; and assures that food and supplies are available for use by dietary personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; Safe Serv certification; excellent leadership and collaborative skills; and basic knowledge of dietetic principles, food sanitation principles, and food service operation.

Direct Care Professional

This position assists, coaches, and monitors individual patients with their daily living needs, including bathing and dressing; assists at meal time by modeling family-style dining and monitoring diets; and assists in the implementation of therapeutic activities, including physical exercises and arts and crafts.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training; the ability to use various database reporting systems, including Care Tracker; and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
