Comedienne Peggy O’Leary, a Delaware County native, has made a name for herself as the host of a Manhattan-based podcast, writes A.D. Amorosi for Glamorosi Magazine.

O’Leary made her way to the New York City comedy scene through Philadelphia, where she performed in a sketch comedy group with friends from college.

“I started performing in the Philly area right away because all the local comics were great and welcoming,” she said.

Even more, O’Leary is proud of her Delaware County roots.

“There is something so authentic and real about Delco and its citizens,” she said. “People never really leave, and even when we do, we find ourselves being called back.”
