Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a 300-bed tertiary-care teaching hospital, was established in 1963 through the merger of Chester Hospital and Crozer Hospital, and became one of the founding hospitals of CKHS in 1990.

Director Facilities and Capital Projects

This position directs the personnel, operational, and fiscal activities of all physical plant facilities, systems, and utility management; ensures the safe and efficient operation of all areas of responsibility; and participates in planning and coordination of construction and renovation projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a variety of engineering; a minimum of seven years of management experience in hospital engineering and maintenance; and construction experience.

Coder, Outpatient 1

This position analyzes, abstracts, and converts information from ED, outpatient, and/or clinic health information into ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes while ensuring accuracy, proper sequencing, and appropriate hospital reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree or completion of AHIMA – Independent Study Program; knowledge of medical terminology, clinical medicine, and anatomy/physiology; and one year of coding experience in a hospital setting.

Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist

This position reviews medical records to facilitate accurate clinical documentation; conducts extensive record review; interacts with physicians, care extenders, and nursing and case management staff; and performs coding as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing; current Pennsylvania RN licensure; a minimum of three years of experience in acute care nursing; and recent adult inpatient hospital experience in ICU, CCU, Med/Surg, critical care, or emergency department.
