Four Delaware County municipalities rank among the Top 25 on 2018’s Best Places to Live in Pennsylvania, according to Niche.com.

The rankings are based on data from a number of sources, including the U.S. Census, FBI, and Bureau of Labor Statistics. Key factors in the rankings include the level of education, cost of living, housing, outdoor activities, and walkability.

The highest-ranked municipality in Delaware County is Swarthmore at No. 12.

Swarthmore also ranked 11th on the Best Places to Raise a Family in Pennsylvania.

Next on the list is Upper Providence Township at No. 18.

Radnor Township checked in at No. 21. It also ranked third on the Places with the Best Public Schools in Pennsylvania. The list is rounded off with Nether Providence Township at No. 25.
