From CHESCO: Forbes, CEO Report Recognize Exton-Based Brumbaugh Wealth Management

Andrew Storti, Chief Operating Officer, and Kim Brumbaugh, Chief Executive Officer, of Brumbaugh Wealth Management.

For Kim Brumbaugh, the key to success is people – the people she employs and the people whose finances she helps to manage.

“It starts with our culture, having a good team in place, which means having the right people with the right skill sets,” said Brumbaugh, the CEO of Brumbaugh Wealth Management in Exton. “And it extends to our clients, who are like family members.”

The success of Brumbaugh’s fully-independent firm – which is staffed by veteran problem-solvers who utilize a team-based approach to financial planning, allowing them to provide their clients with a diverse and objective perspective – has recently drawn recognition from national media.

Brumbaugh’s profile appeared in the Dec. 26, 2017 issue of Forbes, after winning The Five Star Wealth Manager Award from Five Star Professional, which conducts research with consumers, peers, and industry leaders to identify service professionals who provide quality services to their clients.

And last Thursday, the CEO Report honored Brumbaugh and her team with a 2018 Velocity 50 Award in Philadelphia. The Velocity 50 Awards honor the region’s fastest-growing companies, as their determination, dedication, and drive will impact the economic landscape for years to come and serve as an example to others.

Brumbaugh, a Delaware County native and Honey Brook resident, also attributes her firm’s success to its location. Which is why she and her associates are quick to volunteer their time and donate their charity to different causes and fundraisers in the community.

“Chester County is such a wonderful place that we feel like we’ve been blessed,” Brumbaugh said. “We like the idea of living, working, and playing here.”
