Media's Dining Under the Stars

Havertown, Media, and Wayne are among the Main Line’s 11 hottest towns, writes Tara Behan for Main Line Today.

Real estate in these areas is moving quickly, and the inventory is so low that anyone wanting to move there is going to have to be patient.

Havertown’s small-town feel is exactly how residents prefer it. A lot of the newcomers are young families who have chosen Havertown for its cozy vibe and easy access to the Blue Route. Houses mostly range between $300,000 and $500,000, while move-up homes cost between $400,000 and $700,000.

Media has been a popular destination for decades thanks to its proximity to the Blue Route, excellent public transportation, and vibrant nightlife.

“Properties for sale don’t last for more than a week on the market,” said Zubair Khan, executive director of the Media Business Authority.

Meanwhile, Wayne radiates a family-friendly charm that makes residents feel a special connection to the town.

“The community has such a pleasant vibe,” said realtor Sue McNamara. “That’s what buyers want.”
