Founded in 1983 and based in Folcroft, Philadelphia Truck Lines is a super-regional carrier servicing the entire eastern seaboard. PTL offers a unique closed-loop system combining Container Freight Station services, time definite air cargo line haul services, and LTL/TL trucking solutions.
This position plans, schedules, and dispatches customers’ freight; acts as the main point of contact for all drivers; responds to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally; and monitors shipments throughout transit to effectively meet delivery schedules.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, experience with Crown or other dispatch operating systems, transportation industry knowledge and experience, and prior dispatch/load planning experience.

This position ensures shipping and receiving accuracy, prepares freight to meet all customer requirements, maintains the log of available equipment for use by dispatch agents, and assists supervision and management as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, three to five years of forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse, three years of related experience, and a valid CDL-A license.

This position prepares and posts invoices, enters and scans PODs and related documents, provides customer service via e-mail and phone calls, and prepares billing verification reports to verify the correctness of billing information.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, an understanding of and experience with e-mail and billing software, exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, and good attention to detail.
