Radnor’s Brandywine Realty Trust has sent two submissions to Amazon, one for Philadelphia and one for Austin, Texas, as locations for the highly coveted Amazon HQ2, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 123-page pitch – entitled “Two Cities. One Solution.” – strikes a balance between the two cities to avoid favoritism. But small hints throughout the document, such as always listing Philadelphia first and pitching Schuylkill Yards before Austin’s Broadmoor Campus, do show a subtle leaning toward Philadelphia.

In addition to making the case for the two cities, Brandywine has also pitched itself to the online retail giant. In its submission, the trust focuses heavily on the work it has already done in Philadelphia. This includes its Cira Centre development in University City, the first new office tower in Philadelphia in more than a decade.

“Brandywine’s vision was to redefine the city’s skyline by building Cira Centre on top of the rail yards next to Amtrak’s 30th Street Station,” wrote Jerry Sweeney, Brandywine’s President and CEO. “Our big dreams inspired many to reimagine the future of Philadelphia, igniting excitement for all that was yet to come.”
