The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware County Heroin Task Force, and MVP Recovery are partnering together for an Addiction in the Workplace breakfast event.
The educational seminar, combined with a question-and-answer structured event, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26 at Fellowship Hall, located at 350 West State Street in Media. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8 AM, and program discussion will commence at 8:30 AM.

The Addiction in the Workplace event is an effort to make businesses aware of resources, options, and responsibilities as a business owner, manager, or colleague when addiction may have troubled your place of business.
This event will help businesses in the county answer the question, “There’s a problem here; what do I do next? What can I do next?” An open forum panel discussion will allow for business people to learn:
- how businesses can prevent drug addiction in the workplace
- resources for both the business owner and employees
- how they can play vital role in the recovery stage
