Founded in 1960, Don Guanella Village provides residential services for men over the age of 21 with intellectual disabilities with the belief that each individual has the right to strive to fulfill his potential in the physical, mental, emotional, social, psychological, and spiritual areas of his life.

Program Director

This position reviews program plans and related documents for compliance with quality and regulatory standards, provides direct supervision to staff and conducts staff evaluations, and participates in the development of new polices and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in administration, special education, or a related discipline; a minimum of two years of administrative and supervisory experience; and one year of experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals.

Incident Management Coordinator

This position evaluates, monitors, and tracks reportable and non-reportable incidents in the shared centralized database; ensures that the team follows up on incidents; and prepares monthly reports for risk management committees.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, five years of experience in a professional or management capacity, knowledge of regulatory requirements and the incident management bulletin, and investigator certification.

Dietician

This position develops and implements nutritional care plans by assessing nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and current health plans; consults with physicians and staff; and provides nutritional counseling.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, dietician registration, and a minimum of one year of experience with long-term care, preferably with intellectually and developmentally disabled clients.
