Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a 300-bed, tertiary-care teaching hospital, was established in 1963 through the merger of Chester Hospital and Crozer Hospital, and became one of the founding hospitals of CKHS in 1990.

Billing Coordinator

This position enters all charges for an assigned practice, including work insurance rejections, assists patients with billing issues, prepares daily reports, and posts daily service charges for services.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, previous physician office experience, familiarity with HMO and third-party requirements, and experience with billing and coding procedures.

Clinical Appeals Specialist

This position reviews all cases where a third-party payor has made a clinical denial; drafts appeal letters based on a review of patient charts, accepted criteria, and clinical judgment; and helps educate physicians and others on appropriate documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess Pennsylvania LPN or RN licensure, experience with clinical documentation, coding, insurance or case management, and an extensive understanding of medical necessity protocols.

Care Management Resource Center Specialist

This position provides clerical support to assigned care management departments throughout the Crozer-Keystone Health System.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of two to three years of hospital experience, preferably in registration, finance, medical records, or as a unit secretary, and experience managing databases.
