Wawa has extended its sponsorship of the multi-day Wawa Welcome America! July 4th festival for another three years, writes Kenneth Hilario for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This will bring Wawa to a decade of sponsorship for this free Fourth of July celebration.

The citywide festival features many popular events, including what many consider the nation’s largest free concert. There are also stunning fireworks displays, outdoor movie screenings, and free museum days

This year’s festival, which also marks its 25th anniversary, will take place over six days, from June 29 through July 4. More information about the festival, including concert headliners and details about the 50 free events, will be announced over the next few weeks.

“We are delighted to extend our commitment as title sponsor of Welcome America for two more years, as this has been one of our most meaningful partnerships to date,” said Chris Gheysens, Wawa’s president and CEO.

Last year’s concert included performances from neo-soul singer Leon Bridges, local Latin vocal group Viva Mas, and Empire actor and rapper Bryshere Y. Gray. Leslie Odom Jr., who won a Tony Award for his stellar performance in Broadway’s Hamilton musical, will also be performing.
