The Elwyn Board of Directors has appointed Charles “Chuck” McLister the new President and CEO of its organization, a nationally recognized leader in education and support services for children and adults with physical and intellectual challenges.

McLister succeeds Sandra Cornelius, who served Elwyn for more than a quarter of a century and announced her retirement last December.

J. Richard Leaman Jr., Chair of the Board, commended the board-appointed search committee on completing an intensive national search and identifying a collaborative leader with the depth and breadth of experience to continue to advance Elwyn’s mission of service.

Formerly the Chief Operating Officer at Bancroft Neurohealth in New Jersey, McLister begins his new partnership with Elwyn on April 1.

“It will be a privilege to partner with the Elwyn Board, its leadership, dedicated staff, the people Elwyn care for, and their loved ones,” said McLister. “It is a truly remarkable organization with a rich legacy of groundbreaking accomplishments; I see tremendous potential and promise moving forward.”
