Busy Spring at Home Depot Means More Jobs Coming to Delaware County

Home Depot is hiring more than 80,000 workers due to its busy spring season, with 1,346 of them in Greater Philadelphia, including Delaware County.

More than 80,000 new jobs are being created at Home Depot to meet increased spring demand, with nearly 1,500 of them in the Greater Philadelphia area, including Delaware County, according to a staff report from the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The new positions at the retail giant include cashiers, sales, and online order fulfillment. Some are seasonal, but there are also part-time, yet permanent, long-term positions available.

The openings in Delaware County include the Glen Mills store with 18 positions, the Folsom store with 15 available spots, and the Broomall location with four.

Home Depot’s Primos-Secane store is looking to fill the largest number of new positions with 44.
