On Friday, March 10, the Holmes-based HEADstrong Foundation will roll out the lime-green carpet for an unforgettable evening with its Seventh Annual Lime Light Gala.

The special event has been recognized as one of the most inspirational events in the city of Philadelphia to award groundbreaking achievements, honor stories of hope, and remember those who have lost their fight, in an effort to improve lives affected by cancer.

The event will be held at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, located at 201 South Columbus Boulevard from 6:30-11:30 PM. Tickets are now available for $250 each with special pricing for tables of 10.

The black-tie-optional event will include a five-star silent auction, dinner, and an award presentation followed by dancing to the world-class sounds of Jellyroll, the award-winning Philadelphia wedding band. The event will celebrate the life and legacy of HEADstrong founder Nicholas Colleluori, a Ridley High School graduate.

This year, Steve Morrison – the comedian, award-winning D.J., and survivor – will have the honor of serving as Masters of Ceremony, alongside FOX 29 medical correspondent and media personality Michael Cirigliano.

The two share a special bond, as Cirigliano played in instrumental role when Morrison was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2015. The two continue to maintain a very close friendship that transcends the doctor-patient relationship.
