COVID-19 Public Testing Sites Open in Yeadon on July 9,10,11

Drive through and walk-up COVID-19 testing will be available to Delaware County residents July 9, 10 and 11 in Yeadon Borough.

Residents over the age of 18 with COVID-19 symptoms and/or known exposure will be eligible to be tested, especially those at higher risk including:

  • Residents over the age of 65
  • Those with pre-existing health conditions.
  • Critical and essential workforce are also considered a priority for getting testing. These individuals include first responders, healthcare system employees, grocery stores, pharmacies and other essential workers.

The following dates and times are offered at the parking lot adjacent  to Providence Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on Mercy Fitzgerald Campus, 600 S. Wycombe Ave, Yeadon:

Thursday, July 9: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday, July 10: 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 11: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If possible, please call 610-891-5311 to pre-register.  Walk-in testing will also be available.

Testing will be conducted by trained medical staff utilizing a nasal swab (PCR) testing.

Tests are free of charge for residents. Those with private or public health insurance will be asked to provide their insurance card.

Residents are asked to wear a mask/face covering.

Upon arrival, patients will need to complete a registration form and a consent form.

Test results will take up to 5-7 business days. Residents will receive their results by mail. Residents who test positive will also receive a call from the Chester County Health Department.

 Additional COVID-19 public testing sites in Delaware County are being added and will be announced.
