The dedication to its employees’ wellbeing has paid off for Radnor’s VWR, as the company has been recognized by Springbuk as a 2016 Healthiest 100 Workplace in America.

Applicants for the award were evaluated across six key categories, including vision and expertise. The winning organizations combine a number of employee wellness initiatives, alongside corporate wellness programs.

VWR has proven its commitment to the health of its employees in various ways, including free fruit for healthy snacking, fitness and weight management programs, and providing flu shots each year for employees.

In addition, the leading provider of product and service solutions to laboratory and production customers has a global network of wellness champions. They work together to coordinate events that promote employee health and engagement. One of these is an annual global fitness challenge that is open to all employees and their spouses/registered domestic partners.

VWR believes these wellness programs help strengthen employee engagement and offer an additional avenue to support healthy living
