Power Home Remodeling co-CEOs Asher Raphael and Corey Schiller set out to build not only a modern home remodeling company but a workforce filled with happiness, according to a PhillyVoice report by Jenny DeHuff.

For the second year in a row, the evidence that they’ve done just that continues to mount up. Following a No. 1 Fortune magazine ranking for being a top place to work as a millennial, Power Home Remodeling just received Glassdoor’s No. 10 ranking for Best Places to Work 2017, regardless of age.

“This is like — the people have spoken — kind of award. It’s one of the reasons it’s so meaningful,” Raphael said.

Among the Chester company’s leading perks is a trip to Mexico it takes employees on every year.

“Millennials are notorious for job hopping. Today’s generation — they don’t think of employment as for a lifetime, so I think most employers treat them as such,” Raphael said.

Power Home Remodeling does it differently; millennials make up nearly nine of every 10 positions, and Chester is prime real estate for them.

“We think there’s a huge talent pool in Philadelphia, and the city is slowly transforming,” Raphael said.
