The Delco Cruisers recently visited Crozer-Chester Medical Center as part of the group’s 10th annual “Cruise for Kids.”
Members of the organization dressed up as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves to help deliver hundreds of toys to pediatric patients at the medical center. Representatives from the Responders motorcycle group, Delaware County Motorcycle Riders, Brandywine Riders, Fed Ex, and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program also assisted with the event.
Participants drove dozens of classic cars and motorcycles onto the grounds of the medical center in Upland. The visitors delivered toys to patients in the Pediatrics unit and the Emergency Department.
The Delco Cruisers is a family-oriented, all-inclusive car club, without restriction to year or make of vehicle. The group aims to do charitable work within the community, interact with neighboring car clubs, and promote inter-club shows and cruises.
