Claims Adjuster

This position reviews medical records, lab results, invoices, and claims forms in order to make determinations of coverage for submitted claims. He/she provides excellent customer service, and works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The person applies clinical knowledge of disease processes and treatments to help companion animals outside of a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience as a veterinary technician in a vet clinic. A CVT or equivalent is preferred. He/she will have comprehensive understanding of disease processes and veterinary medical terminology. The person will have excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Happiness Manager (Customer Satisfaction Representative)

This position impacts every customer interaction by exceeding expectations and doing whatever it takes to help the customer. He/she empathizes with and provides guidance to future customers and current policyholders. The person handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing customer communications to full completion. He/she provides customer and policyholder support via e-mail, phone, and chat.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a customer-facing role. He/she will understand and exemplify the meaning of outstanding customer service. The person will be able to interface with a wide range of customer types and integrate into a team environment.

Public Relations Associate

This position establishes P.R. processes and metrics to generate a steady high volume of coverage and visibility. He/she builds on existing media relationships while creating new contacts within target media outlets across the U.S. and Canada. The person drafts statements and responds to media inquiries on behalf of Petplan, as well as the relevant company spokespeople.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in P.R., Marketing, Communications, or Journalism. He/she will have at least five years of experience in a corporate and/or agency setting with proven relationships with high-level media contacts. The person will be able to act as a corporate spokesperson.
