Founded in 1960, Don Guanella Village’s developmental programs division provides residential services for men over the age of 21, with a primary diagnosis of Intellectual Disabilities. House Manager

This position provides for and promotes the welfare, well-being, care, and programmatic needs of individuals. He/she supervises and assists staff members in all aspects of their work to provide total care for the individuals in assigned living areas. The person oversees the daily operations of their assigned living area, including staffing, house meetings, and resident care and support. He/she supervises and monitors the implementation of individual support plans for the residents, ensuring the completion and accuracy of all required documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience or an associate degree and five years of related experience. He/she must be able to pass a background screening and must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license. The person must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn organization-specific applications.

Residential Supervisor

This position ensures a safe, sanitary, and family-like environment in the living area by ensuring any physical plant concerns are quickly and correctly reported to the maintenance department and/or administration. He/she oversees and assists in planning recreational, vocational, and community inclusion activities. The person ensures adequate staffing for the living area, maintains the shift report, conducts the shift report meeting, and emails the report to the management team.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, associate degree, or preferably a bachelor’s degree. He/she will have a minimum of one year of related experience. The person must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn organization-specific applications.
