What’s the Philadelphia Union Worth? Ask Forbes

In a recent report calculating the value of Major League Soccer clubs, Forbes estimates that the Philadelphia Union is currently worth $152 million, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This ranks the popular team 14th out of the 20 clubs in the league in terms of dollars, and also reveals that it is in the same spot in terms of attendance at 18,671 fans per game.

The Forbes valuation is based on multiples of revenue, future growth potential and operating income with the average being $180 million.

However, this is before the upcoming unveiling of Union’s new training facility and team offices near to its home of Talen Energy Stadium in Chester.
