The Ellis Preserve development in Newtown Square will be welcoming a new restaurant called Firepoint in November, writes Kenneth Hilario for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

George Paxos, owner of the Paxos group of restaurants, is expanding into the Philadelphia region starting with Newtown Square.

Paxos decided on Ellis Preserve for his first foray into this market, as there is one million square feet of office space nearby, and it is close to Routes 3 and 252. The new restaurant will feature an exhibition kitchen and wood-fire grill.

“We are always looking for new opportunities to expand Paxos Restaurants,” he said. “There is always potential for growth, and we will continue to look for select opportunities in and around the Greater Philadelphia region.”
