The Dress Matters

Two retailers in Media are forming a partnership for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Dress Matters, a bridal shop, is partnering with Lovely You, which specializes in wigs for women undergoing chemotherapy.

Throughout the entire month of October, brides who purchase a dress at The Dress Matters will contribute to raising money for wigs for women who are undergoing chemotherapy and can’t afford them.

The Dress Matters has agreed to donate two percent of each bridal dress purchased at $1,200 or more.

“Some of our customers have been affected by breast cancer and we are happy to give back by providing funding for wigs for women who are not able to afford them,” said Deborah Collins, owner of The Dress Matters.

To celebrate the partnership, The Dress Matters will provide pink or white slippers and breast cancer awareness bracelets for each bride shopping during the month of October.

“We are excited about the partnership and grateful that The Dress Matters is helping to raise funds to help women in need,” said Debby Basher, co-owner of Lovely You.

Brides-to-be can book an appointment to shop for bridal dresses at http://www.thedressmatters.com/ or by calling 610-566-5680.
